I am a massage therapist that graduated from Makami College. I have had about 3 year of hands on experience, from working along side chiropractors, physio therapists and other massage therapists in treatment style clinics. On top of the experience from working with clients that had injuries, I have had a few opportunities over the duration of my schooling to work with clients in maintenance and spa style relaxation therapy through the colleges clinic and occasional spa days. I perform Swedish relaxation massages, deep tissue massages, cupping, hot-stone therapy, as well as postural correction therapy. I firmly believe that, to treat an individual you can not expect to only give the client either treatment or relaxation therapy, but in fact for the client to feel the most value out of a treatment they need relaxation, treatment, and a confident but understanding therapist in each session. I also believe that more than me the client knows what they want and need and so I keep an open policy with my clients to not be afraid to say if you think something or feel something that possibly relates to the issue, as those points will only help a therapist work out a plan that best suits your personal/work life and fits in with your expectations from the treatment.
